On this significant day, Rwanda joins the world to showcase innovative approaches to condom promotion, its importance to HIV prevention.
Dr. Basile Ikuzo, director of HIV prevention in RBC said that “there is a clear need to increase awareness on why people should use condoms during the following day of Valentines day, where lovers should remember the importance of condom during making love.”
Condoms remain the singular tool capable of preventing HIV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and unplanned pregnancies, making them indispensable in safeguarding sexual health and well-being.
