Polisi y’u Rwanda ku bufatanye n’inzego z’ibanze n’abaturage mu karere ka Nyaruguru, yafashe abagabo batanu bageragezaga kwinjiza mu gihugu imifuka 12 y’imyenda ya caguwa mu buryo bwa magendu.

Bafatiwe mu mudugudu wa Gisizi, akagari ka Nyaruguru mu murenge wa Munini, ku wa Gatatu tariki ya 12 Mata, ahagana ku isaha ya saa mbiri za mu gitondo.

Umuvugizi wa Polisi mu Ntara y’Amajyepfo, Chief Inspector of Police (CIP) Emmanuel Habiyaremye, yavuze ko kugira ngo bafatwe byaturutse ku makuru yari yatanzwe n’abaturage.

Yagize ati:” Twahawe amakuru ko hari itsinda ry’abantu bakora ubucuruzi bwa magendu bambukira mu mudugudu wa Gisizi, bakinjiza imyenda ya caguwa mu Rwanda bayikuye mu gihugu cy’u Burundi.”

 Yakomeje agira ati: “Hateguwe igikorwa cyo kubafata, abapolisi babategerereza muri uwo mudugudu wa Gisizi, haza gufatwa abagabo batanu bari bapakiye ku magare imifuka 12 y’imyenda ya caguwa yose hamwe barafatwa, imyenda nayo ijyanwa ku kigo cy’imisoro n’amahoro (RRA), ishami rya Huye.”

Nyuma yo gufatwa bavuze ko bari bayikuye mu gihugu cy’u Burundi bakaba bari bagiye kuyicururiza mu isoko rya Ndago riherereye mu murenge wa Kibeho. 

CIP Habiyaremye yashimiye abatanga amakuru atuma abakora ubucuruzi bwa magendu n’ibindi byaha bafatwa bagashyikirizwa ubutabera, asaba abacuruzi kwirinda magendu n’ibicuruzwa bibujijwe, uwo babicyekaho bagatanga amakuru kuko bidindiza iterambere ry’Igihugu bikanagira ingaruka ku buzima bw’abaturage.

Itegeko ry’umuryango w’ibihugu byo mu Karere k’Afurika y’Iburasirazuba rinakoreshwa mu Rwanda ingingo yaryo ya 199 rivuga ko ibicuruzwa bya magendu byafashwe bitezwa cyamunara.

Ingingo ya 87 y’Itegeko No. 026/2019 ryo ku wa 18/09/2019 rigena uburyo bw’isoresha, iteganya ko; umuntu wese ugambiriye kutishyura umusoro ukoze igikorwa cyo guhisha ibicuruzwa bisoreshwa cyangwa imitungo ifitanye isano n’ubucuruzi; aba akoze icyaha cyo kunyereza umusoro.

Iyo abihamijwe n’urukiko, ahanishwa igifungo kitari munsi y’imyaka ibiri (2) ariko kitarengeje imyaka itanu (5).
