U Rwanda rumaze imyaka myinshi rushyizeho gahunda yo guca amasashi, pulasitike n’ibindi bikoresho bitabora mu rwego rwo kurengera ibidukikije. Ibi bigerwaho hakumirwa ingaruka pulasitike n’amasashi biteza. Yagize ati:“ Ibikoresho bya pulasitike bimwe na bimwe tubikoresha kubera kwanga guhinduka. Hari ibikoresho dushobora kubaho tutabikoresheje. Ntabwo ari ngombwa ko umutobe uri mu kirahure, wakoresha umuheha wa pulasitike.”

Na none yagize ati:“Niba ushaka icyo guhahiramo, dushobora kunagura ibikoresho byashaje tutagikoresha mu rwego rwo kurengera ibidukikije. Ushobora gufata umutaka wawe, umupira cyangwa ipantalo byashaje, ukabidodesha ukabikoramo agakapu ko guhahiramo. Abafite imodoka mushobora kwitwaza indobo yo guhahiramo ntabwo ari ngombwa ko baguha mu ishashi kuko ibi bizadufasha kurengera ibidukikije dukoresha n’amafaranga make.”

Itegeko N° 17/2019 ryo ku wa 10/08/2019 ribuza ikorwa, itumizwa mu mahanga, ikoreshwa n’icuruzwa ry’amasashe n’ibikoresho bikozwe muri pulasitiki bikoreshwa inshuro imwe. Iri tegeko ryahaye imyaka ibiri inganda zikora ibinyobwa bitandukanye nk’amazi n’imitobe yo kuba zabonye ubundi buryo busimbura pulasitiki.
