Rwandan President Paul Kagame on Wednesday inaugurated Norrsken Kigali House, the first platform of its kind on the African continent that focuses on African opportunities for investors and start-ups from the continent.
Norrsken Kigali House is Africa’s largest hub for entrepreneurship and innovation, hosting businesses and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs to bring significant economic benefits to Rwanda. It was created in 2019 to provide Rwandans with a platform for exchanging ideas that helps them develop their business projects.
The players at Norrsken Africa Week 2023, which officially launched on Wednesday, include entrepreneurs and the world’s biggest investors, gathered under one roof to talk and act on the African opportunity.
“African start-ups have unrivaled potential and Norrsken Africa Week is the only place that will bring the ecosystem together,” said Pascal Murasira, Managing Director of Norrsken East Africa.
Key players from the global and African start-up ecosystem will also join in formulating ways to focus on the potential ecosystem landscape of the continent.
Norrsken, a non-profit foundation created in 2016, has the mission of supporting future entrepreneurs by accompanying them at each stage of their business project.
