Effective August 2022, all primary teachers will receive a 88% salary increment, while secondary school teachers (A0 &A1) will receive a 40 percent salary increase.
For a teacher recruited and paid on basis of A1 diploma (total of 12,214 teachers) will increase by 40% of net starting salary or 54,916 FRW; For a teacher recruited and paid on basis of A0 degree (total of 17,547 teachers) will increase by 40% of net starting salary or 70,195 FRW.
