Tanzania Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Energy Dr. Biteko Urged Women to be Ambassadors of Clean Cooking Energy and to Ensure all Families Use Clean Cooking Energy which Includes Gas, Electricity than using Charcoal for the next Generation.

Biteko added that Government rules and regulations would continue to be Friendly to Investors who invest in Clean Cooking Energy.

Dr. Biteko Said such Conferences will help push Tanzania’s President’s agenda to reach 80% of Tanzanians to use clean Energy by 2034.

Hon Judith Kapinga Deputy Minister for Energy also said that Women should be on the frontline to use Electricity clean cooking energy because it is cheaper compared to any other which costs 350 Tsh for 1 Unit and can be used for 1 hour while cooking.

The Director general for electricity in Tanzania Tanesco Eng. Gissima Nyamohanga says Government has Invested a lot in the Clean cooking Sector by Using Electricity as the best way of clean cooking Energy and its Pushing it in every corner.

Tanesco Board of Directors Vice chairman Hon Zuhura Bundala says Women are the Main Key to Using Clean Cooking Energy because it is very cheap.

The main Target is to make sure every Tanzanian uses Clean Cooking energy. This involves the East African Journalists Forum as part of the promoters of the Agender and to make sure the President’s dream is Fulfilled by 2034, We must push. The Agender through all ways creates awareness in the public and all East African countries, and all Women should see Women as a good Example Through this Conference, Says Chief Stephen Nchimbi the East African Journalists Forum Chairman.
