Kuri uyu wa 01 Gicurasi 2024, Sendika y’Abakozi bo mu bucukuzi bw’amabuye y’agaciro mu Rwanda / Rwanda Extractive Industry Workers Union (REWU) twifatanije n’Isi yose mu kwrizihiza umunsi mpuzamahanga w’Umurimo twishimira ibyo umurimo mu rwego rw’ubucukuzi mu Rwanda bimaze kugerwaho;

1. Abakozi bo mu bucukuzi bafite amasezerano y’umurimo yanditse bariyongereye, bageze kuri 34%;

2. Abo bakozi kdi bateganyirizwa izabukuru, impanuka n’ibyago bikomoka ku kazi;

3. Gahunda yo kwigira ku murimo (workplace learning) nayo yashyizwemo imbaraga, kugeza ubu abacukuzi bigiye kumurimo bamaze guhabwa inyemezabushobozi na RTB bageze ku 2,200; iyi gahunda ikaba ikomeje;

4. Gutezimbere umurimo unoze (Decent work) mu rwego rw’ubucukuzi binyuze mu biganiro rusange (Social dialogue) birimo kugenda bitera imbere; aho twishimira ko hamaze gusinywa amasezerano rusange (collective bargaining agreement CBA) ageze ku munani hagati ya sendika REWU n’ibigo bitandukanye bikora ubucukuzi, aho yafashije abakozi bageze kuri 5,140 babashije kubona amasezerano y’umurimo yanditse, guteganyirizwa izabukuru muri RSSB, kwizigamira muri EJOHEZA, abagore babyaye bahabwa ikiruhuko gihemberwa (mu gihe mbere bitashobokaga), bahemberwa muri banki. By’umwihariko, abakozi bahemberwa umusaruro bagenewe igihembo kitari munsi ya 3,000Rwf ku munsi (minimum living wage in those companies) mu gihe bakoze ntibagere kuri minerals (mu gihe mbere iyo batageraga ku musaruro batahiraga aho);

Nubwo twishimira ibyo, haracyakenewe gushyirwamo imbaraga nyinshi kugirango imibereho y’abakozi bo mu bucukuzi ibe myiza, cyane cyane

1. Guha abakozi bose amasezerano y’umurimo yanditse;

2. Kurushaho kwita ku buzima n’umutekano mu kazi, companies zubahiriza amabwiriza yashyizweho na RMB;

3. Gushyiraho umushara muto, cyane ko hashize imyaka isaga 40 uwo mushahara ari amafranga 100Rwf/day utavugururwa, bikaba bigira ingaruka zitari nziza ku mibereho myiza y’abakozi hamwe n’iterambere ry’ubukungu

Sendika REWU ikaba ifite icyizere ko hazabaho mu minsi ya vuba amasezerano rusange / Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) izagirana n’inzego zibifitiye ububasha bakumvikana ku gihembo gito kizajya kibarirwa umukozi wo mu bucukuzi ukora atabona amabuye nawe ntagire icyo ahembwa byiswe ko atageze ku musaruro nyamara aba yatanze imbaraga n’ubumenyi bye kugirango awugereho, nta handi yagiye gukora.

Ndashimira RMB na MIFOTRA uko bakomeje guteza imbere urwego rw’ubucukuzi n’amavugurura agenda akorwa, bigira ingaruka nziza ku bakozi;

Turashimira ishyirahamwe ry’abacukuzi (Rwanda Mining Association) hamwe n’abayobozi ba companies z’ubucukuzi uko bamaze kumva umumaro wo guha agaciro abakozi bakoresha nabo bakarushaho kongera umusaruro; dukaba dusaba bamwe mu bakoresha bagitsimbaraye ku kudaha abakozi uburenganzira ko babicikaho kuko umukozi ari imwe mu nkingi za mwamba za company

Turashimira by’umwihariko abanyamuryango  n’abafatanyabikorwa batandukanye ba REWU bo batuma ishobora kuzuza inshingano zayo.

Turasaba abakozi gukomeza gukorana umurava biyungura ubumenyi, kdi bakomeza kwibumbira hamwe muri sendika REWU kugirango ijwi ryabo rirusheho kumvikana.
