Sober Club has introduced a pioneering program to nature entrepreneurship among international students.

This initiative seamlessly combines cultural and educational exchanges with hands-on industry experience to boost employability and professional growth.

  1. Summer School Program
The Summer School Program is a central component, bringing together international and local students from Rwandan universities. This dynamic platform facilitates cultural and educational exchange, allowing students to benefit from each other’s diverse experiences and backgrounds.
  2. Educational Visits and Activities
Participants in the program also visit various learning institutions, including factories, industrial zones, and service providers. These visits are enriched with interactive activities such as games and storytelling, designed to enhance the overall learning experience.
  3. International Internship Programs
Internship opportunities are a key part of the initiative, providing students with practical experience in various industries. These internships aim to improve employability and professional development by offering students real-world experience.
  4. Sober Trips
In addition to the educational components, Sober Trips offer exclusive travel experiences for Sober Club members. These trips allow students to explore tourist areas in Rwanda and beyond, including lakes, forests, parks, and volcanoes, providing a well-rounded experience.
Dr. Gamariel Mbonimana, Director of Research at EAUR and CEO of Sober Club, emphasized the initiative’s potential to foster a healthier, more conscious, and vibrant future while providing unique travel opportunities to explore Rwanda’s natural beauty.
  5. Expanding Networks
Sober Club has established a network with local and international universities, companies, organizations, embassies, NGOs, philanthropists, and churches, aiming to expand these connections further. This initiative reflects the club’s vision of promoting sobriety and consciousness through enriching and empowering experiences.
As the program gains momentum, Sober Club invites students and educational institutions worldwide to join this transformative journey. “We believe in the power of collaboration and shared learning. Together, we can create a vibrant future filled with entrepreneurial spirit and innovation,” Dr. Mbonimana explained.
This initiative by Sober Club promises to be a catalyst for change, offering international students a unique blend of education, experience, and exploration while fostering a global community of future entrepreneurs.
